| 520 | _aThe Manalagi Project surveyed 750 Pacific Rainbow+ individuals and their allies across Aotearoa-New Zealand for seven months (February to August) in 2022. The survey instrument was designed using a Pacific holistic wellbeing framework and was developed in consultation with Pacific Rainbow+ communities through 11 community talanoa sessions across Aotearoa-New Zealand in 2021. Of the 750 responses recorded, 482 identified as a member of the Pacific Rainbow+ community or were questioning their gender or sexual orientation/identity. This represents the largest sample from a survey that has centred Pacific Rainbow+ individuals in Aotearoa-New Zealand. Findings: Manalagi respondents who are Pacific Rainbow+ live all across Aotearoa-New Zealand, but predominantly in Tāmaki Makaurau -Auckland (62%), with the Manalagi sample being relatively young (80% under the age of 40). 45% of respondents identified as Samoan, with 43% of respondents identifying as being multiethnic with Pākehā descent, and 37% identifying as Pacific with Māori descent. 79% of respondents were born in New Zealand and for those born overseas, they had predominantly moved to New Zealand from the 1990s onwards.
