| 520 | _aThis report details the findings from a survey which explored current practices in state and state-integrated schools/kura in Aotearoa New Zealand around the teaching of consent education. The aim of the project was to find out what schools/kura were currently doing in relation to the teaching of the Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) curriculum and, if and how schools/kura were teaching about consent. The survey was developed by members of the National Council of Women Te Kaunihera Wāhine o Aotearoa (NCWNZ) Education Action Hub. The rationale for the development of the survey was to further progress an ongoing NCWNZ Education Action Hub campaign of advocating for the compulsory teaching of consent education in all schools/kura in Aotearoa New Zealand.
