520 _aThe focus of this summary report is foremost on the findings of a cross-national survey conducted in 2019. In total, there were 6,109 respondents aged 16 to 64 years across Australia (n=2,054), New Zealand (n=2,027) and the United Kingdom (n=2,028). Overall, 52.1% of respondents identified as female and 47.9% as male. Most respondents (88.9%) identified as heterosexual, while 11.1% identified as sexuality diverse including lesbian, gay or bisexual (LGB+).7 With regard to age: 6.1% of respondents were 16-19 years; 23.1% were 20-29 years; 25.9% were 30-39 years; 18.6% were 40-49 years; and 26.3% were 50-64 years. Finally, 73.6% of respondents identified as White/European/Pakeha, while 26.4% represented ethnically diverse groups including indigenous, as well as Black, Asian and minority ethnicities (BAME).
