The te ao Māori view (Māori worldview) is understood to mean kaupapa Māori and Māori-centred services that are based on mātauranga Māori and tikanga (Māori knowledge and practices). The definition of services is also broadly interpreted to include the spectrum of actual and potential assessment, intervention, and treatment services for children and young people who are victims of sexual violence or who display HSB .Recentand relevant sources arereviewed, synthesised and discussed. This review aims to provide a brief but critical summary of a topic to identify further areas for research and inform discussions and further work. (From the Executive summary). This is one of two evidence briefs on this topic - the other evidence brief focuses on best practice mainstream services for children and young people (#6902). Both evidence briefs can be accessed from the website. Record #6903 | ||
