520 _aThis report summarises the kōrero that was shared at Ināia Tonu Nei – Hui Māori in Rotorua 5–7 April 2019. A small team took notes at the Hui Māori and gathered insights from discussion, presentations and act ivities. This document attempts to capture what was heard at the Hui, as well as provide further context to why the Hui Māori took place. This report does not claim to represent any individuals or collective groups that attended the Hui. It must be acknowledged that, over many generations, Māori have provided significant kōrero, research, evidence and commentary explaining a Te Ao Māori view on justice reform. This report acknowledges the ongoing work, advocacy and leaders who have sacrificed their lives to improve the wellbeing of Māori.
