520 _a"Ellen Mary Daisy Livingstone, Bradley Victor Livingstone, and Edward Hamilton Livingstone of Dunedin died on 15 January 2014 at Dunedin. Ellen and Bradley died from injuries from a shotgun fired by Edward. Edward died from a gunshot wound to the chest. Edward’s death was self-inflicted. Ellen and Bradley were the young children of Edward and his wife Katharine. Edward’s anger and violence culminated in Edward raping his wife. She called the police. The police attended. Katharine obtained a protection order against Edward, and Ellen and Bradley remained in her care. The Police did not follow up with Katharine about laying a rape complaint."
