520 _a Childhood sexual abuse can have significant short- and long-term effects, including the subsequent development of trauma-related responses. Trauma-related responses include adjustment and post-traumatic stress disorders.  The purpose of this report is to provide an evidence-based guide on the association between childhood sexual abuse and trauma-related responses as a teenager/adult. These findings will be used to assist in the decision making process regarding cover and entitlements of those who have experienced childhood sexual abuse and later developed a trauma-related response.  A literature search was conducted in November 2015 using Ovid MEDLINE(R) In-Process & Other Non-Indexed Citations, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, PsycINFO, and the Worldwide Web.
