The review was conducted by Te Awatea Violence Research Centre at the University of Canterbury. To inform the different phases of the project our review has been divided into two parts: Part One (#4902) focuses on current knowledge about the dynamics of family violence (FV) and child abuse and neglect (CAN), how they interrelate, and the long term consequences to individuals, families and to society. To identify elements of an effective systems response we examined international responses to address FV and CAN and how the New Zealand government currently structures its response. Part Two of the literature review (the current document) will examine the evidence on what interventions work for whom; ranging from universal and targeted population based prevention, to interventions with victims and perpetrators, families and whānau. (From the report, p.3). For Part One see #4902. For other publications related to this project, access the website - the material is hosted on the ESR website. Record #4903 | ||
