This is one of five Cabinet papers that either address family violence or have a family violence component to be considered by the Cabinet Social Poiicy (SOC) on 18 June 2014. The other papers that are also being considered by SOC are:· • Family violence: achieving intergenerational change, from Associate Minister for Social Development. • Government Response to the Report of the Expert Advisory Group on Family Violence which addresses recommendations from the Expert Advisory Group established by the Family Violence Ministerial Group in August 2013. • A Stronger Response to Domestic Violence, which proposes action areas to improve justice outcomes for victims, from the Minister of Justice. • Whole-of-Government Action Plan to Reduce the Harms caused by New Zealand Adult Gangs and International Crime Groups, from the Minister of Police (not released).
