520 _aThe Waihi project was a three month multi-pronged campaign focusing on the development and dissemination of key messages linking family violence, alcohol and its effect on children. The project used local people to promote local messages and was first to link the two national campaign messages, "It's Not OK" and "Ease Up on the Drink". The evaluation focused on the effectiveness of the campaign and key lessons learnt for the development of similar future campaigns.
