520 _aThe Green Paper for Vulnerable Children is a discussion document. It was launched by the Minister of Social Development on 27 July 2011. It is open for submissions until 28 February 2012. Once all submissions have been received and analysed, a White Paper will be released outlining the Vulnerable Children’s Action Plan. The Green Paper was developed by an independent expert appointed by the Minister for Social Development and Employment. The Ministries of Social Development, Education, Health and the Families Commission were also an integral part of the development which has involved reviewing: existing evidence international best practice and consultation and input from experts including non-government and public officials consultation with relevant Government Departments. Information about the Green Paper and its outcomes can be found under Children's Teams, now on the Oranga Tamariki website. Originally also available iin Māori, Samoan and Tongan from the website. The Green Paper has been archived by the National Library of New Zealand. The full Green Paper submissions document ihas not been found online (15/1/2019) however the 1-page summary is still available on the Oranga Tamariki website. Record #3546
