520 _aThis article highlights a research study that examined Family Court judges' experiences and perspectives of children's (aged less than 17 years) participation in Family Court processes that directly affect them. Questionnaires were used as the primary method to obtain information from 34 Family Court judges. More detailed personal interviews were conducted with 3 judges, who all saw the need for more judicial education, especially relating to interviewing children.
