Summary: This is a catalogue of educational resources on child abuse, containing a description of each resource and information on where it can be obtained. The catalogue was compiled through responses to a questionnaire in the 5th Family Violence Prevention Co-ordinating Committee Newsletter, from personal communications with those working in the area, and through the New Zealand Bibliographic network. The catalogue is aimed at those working in New Zealand in community education or involved in training staff working in the general area of child abuse. Because of this, the catalogue focuses on resources that are accessible in terms of availability and content or style. Thus theses are excluded as their language and academic frameworks make them inaccessible tools for community educators. The catalogue provides separate lists of resources for children and teenagers, parents and teachers, abuse workers, abusers, victims and survivors, adults generally, and researchers.
