Endorsement of the organisational model for the new Children and Young People’s Commission (the Commission) was required, with the Commission being established on 1 July 2023 under the Children and Young People’s Commission Act 2022. The Cabinet Social Wellbeing Committee Minute endorsed the implementation of Model 2 organisational model, as set out in the paper under SWC-23-SUB-0044, which aligns with Budget 2023 funding decisions for 2023/24.
