Although the Whānau Integration, Innovation and Engagement (WIIE) Fund is no longer available, this study provides a wealth of information and exemplars to support other whānau who maybe keen to initiate and develop their own plans. It documents key factors that contribute to whānau development and outcomes. A unique aspect of this publication is the process of gathering these whānau narratives using a whānau-centred research approach. The intrinsic value of a whānau- centred research approach allows families to directly contribute their insights and perspectives to the case studies. (From the website).
