This overview report summarises the OCC's longer comprehensive workbook on “How Oranga Tamariki can enable young people on remand to live safely and successfully in their communities”. These reports give pride of place to the voices of young people and their whānau, reflecting their experiences in the youth justice system. The State of Care series is based on the Office of the Children's Commissioner's independent monitoring of Oranga Tamariki policies, practices and services. It includes feedback from children and young people about their experiences. Record #6280 UR - https://www.manamokopuna.org.nz/documents/83/ShortReport-May2019-Pages2.pdf ER -
