The research document Te Puāwaitanga o te Kākano provided Ngā Kaitiaki Mauri with a Māori responsive approach to sexual violence intervention and prevention strategies and explored from a historical perspective, demographic, societal, economic and political influences that have impacted on indigenous knowledge.
