This is the third survey of its kind, with the first undertaken in 1995 and the second in 2009. The research investigates four key areas related to violence against women and its prevention: 1. community knowledge of violence against women 2. attitudes towards violence against women 3. attitudes towards gender roles and relationships 4. responses to witnessing violence and knowledge of resources.
