The review had two goals: 1) to describe and assess the breadth, quality, and evolution of evaluation research in this area; and 2) to summarise the best available research evidence for sexual violence prevention practitioners by categorising programmes with regard to their evidence of effectiveness on sexual violence behavioural outcomes in a rigorous evaluation." (from the authors' abstract). This systematic review was conducted by researchers at the US Centers for Disease Control. A key fingings report based on this systematic review has been produced by National Sexual Violence Research Center (NSVRC).
