N2  - As a result of contracted training based on best practice Partner and Child Abuse Guidelines developed by the Ministry of Health in 2002, New Zealand's primary care practitioners i.e. family doctors, general practice nurses, midwives, community well child nurses, family planning practitioners, are now providing women with routine inquiry on an annual basis, as part of normal consultations. With an ethnically diverse population, teaching is tailored to reflect culturally specific concerns, and women report favorably on face-to-face questioning. [conference paper abstract].
