N2  - In February 2003, the Home Secretary announced the allocation of £14 million over three years to help support Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs) to deliver effective solutions and strategies to tackle domestic violence. The first phase of this research project aimed to inform the allocation of these funds by providing a brief overview of the work being conducted by CDRPs, to the Government Offices for the Regions (GORs) who had been tasked with distributing the funds. The first phase of this research project has been completed.    This report details the second phase of the research, which sought to provide a more comprehensive picture of the work of all CDRPs. Data were analysed to ascertain CDRPs' current achievements, specifically in relation to domestic violence, and to meet the following aims and objectives.    • To gain a better understanding of the extent of work which was being planned or conducted to tackle domestic violence.  • To ascertain the level of priority which CDRPs gave to violence against women and specifically domestic violence
