The research was funded by the Accident Compensation Corporation of New Zealand (ACC) and contributes to the development of useable national practice guidelines. This report is one of a set of five literature reviews and aims to assist in the identification of the effects of sexual abuse. This particular literature review focuses on the social, emotional and physical manifestation of effects in adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
