The model incorporates four distinct management styles to disclosure orientation: exploratory style, oppositional style, evasive style, and placatory style. The discussion of these styles centres on therapeutic engagement and identifying and responding to disclosure orientation. A climate of openness in group settings is considered critical to successful therapeutic intervention. It is suggested that in clinical settings, the early and accurate identification of disclosure management style in individuals may promote more efficient and effective use of therapy time ER -
