The media has a responsibility to report family violence accurately. News stories need to inform New Zealanders about the true nature of family violence, how many people are affected and in what way, and what we can do about it. This resource has been developed to assist journalists to report this topic more realistically. It includes contact information for people who are experts on family violence and willing to give interviews to reporters. This resource has been put together by Stephanie Edmond and Sheryl Hann.
