By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: Wellington, New Zealand : Hāpaitia te Oranga Tangata Safe and Effective Justice, 2019Description: electronic document (68 pages) ; PDF fileSubject(s): Online resources: Summary: "Following the Hāpaitia te Oranga Tangata Safe and Effective Justice Summit in August 2018, Hon Andrew Little, the Minister of Justice, invited me [Chief Victims Advisor] to host a workshop on victims’ issues, the Strengthening the Criminal Justice System for Victims Workshop (‘victims workshop’) which took place on 4-5 March 2019. While there is little administrative data on victims, this report also draws on recent New Zealand research, such as the New Zealand Crime and Victims Survey (‘NZCVS’)[3]." (From the Executive summary). "Turuki! Turuki! Moving together", the second report of Te Uepū Hāpai i te Ora - Safe and Effective Justice Advisory Group was also released on 12 December 2019.
