This report focuses on working with indigenous adolescents to prevent family violence. This report sets out a framework suited to rural towns with a large Aboriginal presence and with services outlying Aboriginal communities. The proposed indigenous rural model places particular emphasis on community outreach activities with vulnerable youth and their families. The need to develop protective strategies for indigenous girls is also highlighted. Record #6433
