The evidence rating scale is a broad framework within which different types of evidence and a range of world views can be examined. It is designed to show where an existing programme is succeeding and where there are opportunities to improve, or whether introducing a new programme could be of benefit.
It has been designed to be used by a range of people, including those who design and fund programmes and the community and voluntary organisations that deliver them. The tool will help you to:
- decide whether or not to introduce an international programme into New Zealand
- review the effectiveness of existing programmes
