A broad-based information gathering and consultation exercise was conducted across the government and community sectors. The purpose of the exercise was to profile current needs and issues for young people with protective and support needs. The purpose of this report is to present the information collected through the information gathering and consultation process. The report presents an analysis of the information structured under the headings of - profile of young people with protective and support needs, unmet need, young people and child protection, the challenge of moving forward and conclusion.
