This means the survey has a lot of questions about what sort of environments help young rainbow people to be well and thrive, and what things make life difficult and challenging. (From the website). The Office for Disability Issues notes that of the Rainbow participants in this survey "42% identified themselves as disabled using the Washington Group Short Set questions (n=1715). While this is a particularly large proportion of disabled people, other studies have also found that there is a higher incidence of disability among Rainbow individuals (around 1 in 3 compared to 1 in 4 in heterosexual populations)." - follow link to read more.
