Budget 2022 invests $114.5 million operating funding over four years in primary prevention, community-led responses and improved workforce capability to strengthen community approaches to eliminating family violence and sexual violence.<br/><br/>The Budget package follows the launch of Te Aorerekura – the National Strategy to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence, in December 2021. Te Aorerekura sets a collective path for investment and action by government, alongside tangata whenua, the specialist sectors and communities.<br/><br/>This is a 16-page summary of funding for initiatives support the implementation of Te Aorerekura - the National Strategy to Eliminate Family Violence and Sexual Violence.
