Summary, etc Considering the complex context of the lives of young people, this report reviews relevant literature to better understand what we know about how young people think<br/>about the romantic and intimate relationships and the factors that influence both healthy and harmful relationship behaviours. Young people report knowing the ‘basics’<br/>about healthy and unhealthy relationships. They understand that physical violence is harmful and that they should aspire for egalitarian relationships. Yet, they do not<br/>recognise more subtle forms of unhealthy relationships, including coercive control, and they struggle with identifying problematic behaviours in their relationships, despite<br/>being able to identify problematic behaviours in others.
