This report presents the findings from an online survey of New Zealand high school students who participated in Mates & Dates between 2015 and 2016. Mates & Dates is a schoolbased programme designed to teach young people skills to support healthy relationships, and prevent sexual and dating violence. The programme is currently delivered by 14 providers to 57 schools across Aotearoa New Zealand.<br/><br/>In December 2016, Synergia was commissioned by ACC to conduct a process and outcome evaluation of the Mates & Dates programme. To support this work, Synergia has analysed the results of the 2015-2016 online survey, which was designed and implemented by another research provider. Drawing on the analysis of the survey data, this summary provides an overview of students’ knowledge, attitudes and experiences after participating in the course and the level of change in knowledge reported by students after taking part in Mates & Dates. This analysis is then used to identify ideas for improving the programme, as well as aspects to further understand through future evaluation efforts. (From the Executive summary). Record #5976
