Summary, etc The aim of this project was to collect data from men who had completed or were completing the SVS - Living Safe "Stopping Violence group programme to gain their views on: <br/>- the effectiveness of the stopping violence group<br/>- how SVS - Living Safe services could be further developed<br/>- strategies that would be useful in reducing the incidence of family violence in our community.<br/>The findings and recommendations are based on a survey completed by 31 respondents and 12 focus group participants.<br/>The research project was a collaboration between SVS - Living Safe, Public Health, Nelson Marlborough District Health Board and the Bachlelor of Nursing Programme, Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.<br/>
