It also includes a flow chart mapping the process for responding to child abuse and/or neglect, and a list of abuse and neglect signs and symptoms. The booklet provides a variety of appendices, such as body diagram sheets, referral forms, legal issues, and list of references. The Appendix, "Information on the Child, Youth and Family Referral Procedures", outlines step-by-step advice on making a referral and receiving a follow-up to Child, Youth and Family.
