This thesis explores how New Zealand community agency workers perceive that communities are responding to child homicide. The research presented is based on the literature and interviews with three people working in community agencies that respond to child homicide. The author identifies four key themes: parenting, attitudes, resources and building communities but finds that there is no clear consensus about the appropriate course of action required to address violence against children. |
