The Ministry of Youth Development (MYD) – Te Manatū Whakahiato Taiohi Youth Advisory Group (YAG) was first established in 2022 and is a departmental advisory group supporting MYD. The purpose of the group is to provide advice on specific projects that help embed youth voice into
government decision-making. A central focus for the MYD YAG in 2022-2023 was supporting the review and
refresh of the Youth Plan. Following the launch of the refreshed Youth Plan: Voice, Leadership, Action (Youth Plan) in August 2023, the MYD YAG has been contributing to and supporting implementation of Youth Plan actions. (From the Introduction). Record #9010
