This paper provides an overview of the immediate and anticipated medium-term social impacts of COVID-19, the groups who are likely to be most adversely affected and what monitoring to date has begun on this.

The paper also outlines what the Government responses has been so far to address social impacts and proposes further detailed report back of how current initiatives underway may respond to the social impacts of COVID-19.

The document includes: Appendix One: Executive Summary - Rapid Evidence Review of the immediate and
medium-term social and psychosocial impacts of COVID-19 in New Zealand (pages 16 - 26 and Minute of decision (pages 27 - 28).
