These guidelines have been developed to enable Women’s HealthServices (WHSs) and the partnerships that are at the core of regional action planning to have clear guidance about how to take considered and timely action that is inclusive, practical, evidence based and doable, to prevent violence against women with disabilities. Extensive consultations with stakeholders and a literature review were undertaken to identify the following six guidelines.
