This report sets out the findings of research into domestic and family violence (DFV) prevention initiatives focused on groups and communities identified as being at greater risk of experiencing DFV and/or having difficulty accessing support services. These groups include: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women (6.2); women with disabilities and mental ill-health (6.4); women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities (6.3); gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people (6.5); younger women (6.7); and women in rural and remote communities (6.7). The report features case studies and a service map comparing programs from New South Wales and other states. This review is part of a set of 3 studies commissioned by the New South Wales Department of Family and Community Services aimed at addressing domestic and family violence. (From the website).
