The Backbone Collective
- The Backbone Collective, 2017
- electronic document (13 pages); PDF file: 792 KB
The overall aim of Survey One was to invite women who have experienced violence or abuse to participate in building the form, function and shape of The Backbone Collective (TBC) in its early stages of development. During November and December 2016, TBC spread word about its plans through its networks and some Facebook advertising and encouraged women to look at the draft website and complete the first survey. TBC did not advertise it too widely as TBC wanted to make sure it had the foundations in place before going public. 156 people participated in this first survey. (From the document). The report can also be accessed in audio format via the website, along with the survey instrument. Subsequent reports from later surveys can also be found on the website. Record #5579
