These guidelines assist organisations to share information, work together with other agencies, understand and apply relevant legislation, and inform and guide practice to improve the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. They highlight policies for handling personal information, information sharing in practice, links to other resources and legislation relating to information sharing. The guidelines also provide seven scenario examples and a template for obtaining informed authorisation.
