This New Zealand-based video is a training resource for those working with people experiencing domestic violence. It presents the stories of three women who have been in abusive relationships. The women describe what kept them in the relationship and how they were able to leave. Commentary on the women's situation and the dynamics of power and control are provided by Jenette Ford from Women's Refuge, and Peter Adams from the Department of Behavioural Science, Auckland University.
