Matua Raḵi News, December 2015, 30-32
In 2015, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Matua Raḵi, considered it timely to review the family violence activities and needs of addiction services in an aim to identify some of the practices, skills, competencies and gaps. This report provides a summary of responses from the Review of Addiction Services Responses to Family Violence Survey. This was an online survey, distributed to addiction service managers, team leaders and senior clinicians between July and August 2015.
The survey was sent to 201 contacts across 126 different organisations and yielded 83 responses. The responses came from across the country and service types (AOD, family/whānau, kaupapa Māori, residential, managed withdrawal, youth, peer support, gambling, OST etc.). (From the article).
