This book aims to help men find healthy ways to respond to conflict, change the cultural conditioning that condones violence and avoid reverting to old patterns once they have embarked on the journey to nonviolence. This new edition includes updated resources, additional exercises and guidelines for men of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Also includes a new appendix on the theory and practice of offender programs, written for professionals who work with men who batter. The author is a Training and Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Domestic Abuse Intervention Program in Duluth.
