This report highlights the outcomes for the New Zealand Police for the financial year. The report presents the Police's three- to five-year outcome priorities to reduce violence (family violence, sexual crimes and street disorder), burglary, vehicle crime, organised criminal activity, and to increase national security and enhance road safety. This report focuses on six key intervention streams to help reduce inequalities and improve outcomes: responsiveness to at-risk families, drug and alcohol, responsiveness to young people, Māori responsiveness, Pacific peoples responsiveness, and ethnic responsiveness. The report also examines key areas of development: service management, integrity, capability, provision of statistical data on output expenses, service performances, and financial statements of the Police.
